Mail Sorter Supervisor- Pay compensation $45K
Summary
Supervises, leads, assesses, monitors operational activities by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet all Station Safety goals and processes
- Meet operational production and performance goals to include:
- Lbs. / Manhour goals
- Labor Hours Management
- Scanning Performance Goals
- Ensures area is clean and organized
- Assist in scheduling of employees
- Timely and accurate completion of all required Operational reports and website data entry
- Assist in recruiting and hiring of new employees
- Assist in training of employees
- Daily tracking of attendance and associated Corrective Action
- Daily setup for Outbound operation
- Coordinate daily cleaning of facilities
- Drive excellence through appropriate disciplines when needed
- Ensure compliance with MAS, customer regulations and policies
- Establishes a culture that promotes safety
- Conducts oneself in such a way as to become the benchmark for the Station in integrity, fairness, personal attitude and respect for others.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Can meet the Station’s attendance standards
Supervisory Responsibilities
Is responsible for the overall direction of the Station. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding employees; addressing complaints and resolving issues.

- Must be flexible to work extended hours when necessary, on short notice due to operational needs
Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or twelve (12) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
